The Freelander 2 can be perceived as a sort of successor to the Freelander which had a little bit troubled birth and had fight pretty severely for the market position. Travelling in the used Land Rover Freelander 2 is very comfortable. The interior is quiet and the suspension eliminates lumps and bumps easily. All in all, this compact managed to put the company of Land Rover back on the right track and it offers good performance and a comfort ride for reasonable money.
